The Ontario Food Protection Association annual fall meeting will be held on November 18, 2009. The main topics include: Cross contamination (pathogens and allergens), Evolving food safety issues and food safety implications of C Dif and MRSA.

A survey of Food Manufacturers by Food Processing magazine (January 2009 edition) found that:

Food safety was ranked as the biggest priority and in order to improve levels of food safety, buying more/improved sanitation equipment was planned by 51% of respondents.
